Maybe "theTube" has broadband ?

Ok...so the bunker I chose is 25' long x 8' diameter with a 3' manhole entrance at one end and a 6" vent at the other. I have posted some pics below I took during installation. It has a small concrete pad on top now. It is entirely pest proof.

Wow, that's hard core. But I'm confused.. it may be "pest proof," but how is a corrugated pipe peak oil proof?

EDIT: That old thread is a hoot! Bunker posts on po.com, those must've been the days. :)

I have been wondering, if you took the entire cost of assistance to families, food stamps, housing, 139 a month for a woman with one child ( which is what families in Indiana get, I know I used to work there), add it all up since it first started in the 60's, does it come close to the 30 trillion I understand our government has given to the banks to pay off the hedge fund bets? 30 years of assistance for the citizens verses 2 years of assistance to the bankers and ultra rich. Who wins?

I remember that thread and pics. I was a lurker back then. Man, when oil was > $100 barrel people were freaking out. I remember tons of "what if TSHTF" threads. I remember one week when oil rose $5 in like 2-3 days, I think everyone who didn't own a bicycle bought one that weekend.

Looking back, I don't disparage all the hysteria. It served its purpose. I'm very well prepped now and am just finishing off odds and ends here and there.

Gaddafi has a serious bunker. Actually, probably has many of them.

I wonder where the power comes from ?

Speaking of BUNKERS….

I have a 6.5kw diesel generator, one lung, china built. Under 50 hours on it.

I need to he rid of it, I can’t find a tenant smart enough to turn it on. It has become a liability. Idiocracy arise!

Needs to be picked up in Philadelphia. By November.

I was gonna put it at our hunting camp but another, better solution to our storage problems came up so this gen is now excess.
