Obama Talks on Phone With Iran’s Leader, Negotiates With Tehran

“Just now I spoke on the phone with President Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said. “The two of us discussed our ongoing efforts to reach an agreement over Iran’s nuclear program.”

This is the first time leaders from America and Iran have spoken since 1979.

“I reiterated to President Rouhani what I said in New York. While there will surely be important obstacles to moving forward and success is by no means guaranteed, I believe we can reach a comprehensive solution.

“I’ve directed Secretary Kerry to continue pursuing this diplomatic effort with the Iranian government. We had constructive discussions yesterday in New York with our partners, the European Union, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, and China, together with the Iranian foreign minister, and going forward, President Rouhani and I have directed our teams to continue working expeditiously in corporation with the P-5 plus one to pursue an agreement. And throughout this process we will stay in close touch with our friends and allies in the region, including Israel.

“Now we are mindful of all the challenges ahead. The very fact that this was the first communication between an American and Iranian president since 1979 underscores the deep mistrust between our countries.”

Obama said that “Iran’s supreme leader has issued a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons, President Rouhani has indicated that Iran will never develop nuclear weapons.”

“I have made clear that we respect the right of the Iranian people to access peaceful nuclear energy in the context of Iran meeting its obligations. So the test will be meaningful, transparent, and verifiable actions,” said Obama, which could lead to a relaxation of sanctions.

Obama talked of a new relationship between the U.S. and Iran, if his diplomatic efforts succeed.

It is not about the nuclear problem, but the dollar problem. I predict nothing will change as the Empire cannot have a country that is not subserviant to the dollar and tied to the Central Banks. Especially one rich in oil and nat gas.

Nor do the Saudi’s want a free Iran. They want them collared and destroyed.

We will eventually see that this was just a delaying ploy on the part of the Empire, I think. But then, Israel was NOT part of the bargain. Will Israel light the powder keg of WW3?

I’m guessing the Iranians are worried about our sanctions causing their own Arab Spring .

Maybe Obama has started to hijack the presidency from his handlers. If that is the case, expect his real birth certificate to be found soon, possibly by the same guy who found Mohamed Atta’s passport in a street in Manhattan.

On the other hand, it could also be a propaganda move, to show goodwill to the rest of the world and then ensure that talks will be sabotaged, preparing an attack.

And Preston, Iranians are not Arabs and are not interested in becoming part of an American empire, after they successfully kicked the Anglos out single handedly under Khomeiny. This time Iran has potent friends Russia and China, and the rest of the BRICS.

In the past 24 hours, Lauder and Harris of the AJC have ordered the arrest of the leader of the Greeks nationalists.

In the past week British MSM have published articles suggesting that British agents did indeed murder Rudolf Hess in Spandau in 1987, to prevent war secrets coming out in the open. Also that Hitler had repeatedly made peace offers to Britain and never was interested in war with western Europe. The British archives are scheduled to open in 2017. Poor British.

Last week a prominent Iraq antiwar activist Karen Kwiatkowski invited Mark Weber for her radio show, linking paleo-libertarianism to WW2 revisionism.

    Things are definately heating up.

I wonder if Washington and Preston realize how isolated they are.

I have a better idea, how about everyone sanction the US until ITS nuclear program, the most toxic and deadly in world, is under UN supervision.

Iran does not have to have ‘talks’ with the US about its nuclear power program. Those ‘talks’ are nothing but a smokescreen, or else the US would have very little to hang its plans to make war on Iran with. No one really believes the tired old Iran=terrorism trope. So nukes its got to be.

President Rouhani should have asked Obomber when he planned allow international inspection of US nuclear facilities. He also could have asked what Israel and the US, both serial violators of the NPT* plan to do with all those nuclear weapons they got stashed away in hidey holes all over the world.

*Iran has not violated either the spirit or the letter of the NPT as far as anyone knows. Does the puppet Prez O. even know what the NPT is? or that it even exists?

DC does not fully understand the glory of ‘American Exceptionalism’ (or should I naughtily say: ‘the Chosen’), enabling Washington to set the planetary rules.

Irony aside, there is no need for the US to ‘rule/dominate the world’. Just trash 80% of the MIC, get your budget and trade deficit in order, sign a few documents with the EU and Russia and you (or your kids) will never have to fight in some remote desert again (let alone a few billion BRIC-ies), and yet you will be perfectly safe (but do keep an eye on those Canadians 😉 ).

“but do keep an eye on those Canadians”

Ya, I heard Harper has plans to refit our submarine. 🙂
