My home has lost over 50% of it's value. I would say I've done quite enough for the "average
homebuyer". Of course it doesn't matter to me, because I love this house and will never move.

Your home did not lose 50% of its value, you lost 50% of what you paid for it.

There's a big difference, and you need to understand that.

My home has appreciated 30% in 20 years, and I haven't done a damn thing to it to improve it yet (about to embark on a few things currently), so who needs the meds and who's a dope?
