Have a look at slide 4, to see his unfounded optimism. The truth is the other way around: the bright days are behind us, now the big question is what we can save of our civilization and it’s comfort and luxury. Beamer? Loveboat cruise? Paris-New York in two hours for shopping at Macey’s and be back in time for dinner? Those are things of the past. Crude, superficial propaganda by someone who thinks that all would be hunky-dory if just British politicians would not behave like in ‘Yes minister’. Sure Jeremy.
