I’m not a zionist, but problems with ISIS could give Israel an excuse to purge all Arabs from its territory.

And since Israel is on the Mediterranean, it’s airspace would provide unrestricted access to the US fleets planes and attack helicopters. You can’t buy entertainment like that.

Only one thing is certain. We, humans are a mass of contradiction. Once again I find myself agreeing with Plantagenet.

The Times of Israel published, and then deleted, a piece Friday by a blogger suggesting that genocide was a “permissible” way to solve the conflict in the Middle East.

Yochanan Gordon’s opinion piece, entitled “When Genocide is Permissible,” wonders if the mass obliteration of a people would be justified if used as a means for Israeli military to “achieve its goal of sustaining quiet.”

“Hamas has stated forthrightly that it idealizes death as much as Israel celebrates life,” Gordon wrote. “What other way then is there to deal with an enemy of this nature other than obliterate them completely?”

Gordon said that the UN and U.S. are “completely out of touch” and criticized networks like CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera for only focusing on the “majority of innocent civilians who have lost their lives.”

“Anyone who lives with rocket launchers installed or terror tunnels burrowed in or around the vicinity of their home cannot be considered an innocent civilian,” he continued.

He concluded:

“If political leaders and military experts determine that the only way to achieve its goal of sustaining quiet is through genocide is it then permissible to achieve those responsible goals?”

The Times of Israel quickly deleted the post, but as Noah Smyth pointed out, the original headline remains in the URL.

I would like to make one (minor) point.
In every war I’ve witnessed. When one side captures another’s fighting personal, that person is called a ‘prisoner or war’. In the Gaza intervention, invasion, war, whatever, a single Israeli trooper is captured by Hamas or one of its fellow travelers,
that IDF grown man is said to have been “Kidnapped”.

Close your eyes. Picture an Israeli soldier all decked out in armor and weaponry. Now compare that with any
civilian aged 1 thru 100 that has been grabbed out of her home or hotel or crib or traveling companions.

Captured soldiers are NOT ‘kidnap victims’. That’s all I have to say.

Israel is a little Chihuahua taking on a pack of pit bulls. Unless it uses it’s nukes, it would be overrun by shear numbers in a short time. And if it uses it’s nukes, it’s a radioactive sheet of glass the next day.

Let’s compare:

Israel Jewish inhabitants = ~6,119,100* (February 2014)

Muslims in the ME = ~300,000,000+(2010)

50:1 odds don’t seem to favor the Jews.

I am a hardcore Zionist, albeit perhaps for the wrong reasons, under the motto: ‘every Khazar who is in Zion, is not here’, regardless of where the ‘Zion’ du jour might be actually situated. Several locations have been proposed in the past, notably by the Khazars/Zionists themselves (Uganda, Palestine) as well as the Germans of the thirties and early fourties (Madagaskar, Palestine, Ukraine). Although Palestine (owned by the Turks) had been promised by the British to the Jews in return for bringing the Americans into WW1 on the side of the British, the British refused to cooperate with the Germans, just because it were the Germans who proposed it. British have severe Germany issues, with desastrous consequences for Europe, but I digress.

Then in early 1941, with the war in full swing, the Soviets decided to take advantage of the fact that Germany was, against it’s will, again embroilled in a war with the British and French, (who still resented that the Germans make better products than them) and that it was time for the Soviets to attack the Germans in the back and bring the blessings of Bolshevism to Europe, all with the full consent of the Americans, who could not wait to join the war and collect their part of the European pie and did everything they could to provoke the Japanese toddler, who happened to be allied to the Germans, with an economy of 10% of that of the US. The Germans, no fools, detected that the USSR was in state of full mobilization and that the Molotov-Ribbentrop accord was worth shit and that in general it is a bad idea to wait until somebody hits you, decided to do something about it. First they send German #2 Rudolf Hess to Britain to see if the British were not prepared after all to make peace. But the secret Roosevelt-Churchill-Stalin axis was already in place in early 1939 and committed to the destruction of Germany and Europe in general and hand it over to the Khazar run operations USA and USSR (although after the war closet anti-semite Stalin managed to finally sideline the Soviet Khazars, which was the main reason why the cold war came about between the former allies).

So in June 1941, after the Hess mission had failed miserably and Roosevelt had not yet managed to circumvent Congress and join the war, the only way out for the Germans to end the war they never wanted, was to attempt the flight forward, try to reach Moscow before the onset of the winter and dissolve the evil empire and force the British to peace.

But then the Italians blew it all. 

These operette warriors, in name allied to Germany, decided that in order to increase Italian grandeur, it was opportune to invade Albania and Greece, giving the British the excuse to invade neutral Greece near Thessaloniki, with the sole intent to threaten the Romanian oilfields of Ploesti, the only source of fuel for the Germans (one year earlier the British and French similarly had invaded Norway in order to cut off iron supply from Narvik to Germany, which prompted the Germans to invade Norway and kick off the war in western Europe). This forced the Germans to additionally invade the Balkans and Greece, totally against their will, which cost the Germans three valuable months. The consequence was that the Germans stranded 50 miles away from the Kremlin, while Roosevelt finally managed to join the war. As a consequence, we now all speak English, thanks Italy. Nevertheless, in early 1942, all of a sudden, the Germans held large parts of Soviet territory and with it came the opportunity to finally park the Khazars and their Bolshevism somewhere, far away from Europe, without British consent necessary. The Germans called it the Final Solution, although after the war there was some confusion about what that final solution actually meant. But after the Americans in Nuremberg applied sophisticated truth finding techniques, which according to the American judge van Rooden consisted in spreading the legs of the Germans and stamping on their testicles, until the bastards finally admitted they had gassed the Khazars and the true meaning of the final solutuon had been established to almost everybodies satisfaction.

Now that the Khazars had concluded during their Nuremberg trial that they had been exterminated, it was time for them to set up shop in Palestine after the original inhabitents had been kicked out of their homes, a move the Palestinians resent until today. And this is not going away. Then, by the end of the ninetees, the Khazars running the US came up with a plan called Clean Break and consisted in using US resources to destroy all enemies of Israel, a process underway until today, after bin Laden was so friendly to provide the excuse, if you want to believe that story. With desastrous results. Because under the rubble of the destroyed secular run countries like Libya, Iraq and Syria, the fundamentalist ISIS snake was waiting for it’s chance, with uncle Erdogan smiling in the background. With Sunni fundamentalism on the march, the future of Israel is very bleak indeed and the most likely result will be that Palestine will be reabsorbed by the Turkish run Ottoman empire 2.0.

So what is going to be the new homeland for the Khazars.. Upstate New York? Crimea? Ukraine? Madagaskar? Questions, questions, questions.

Russia can keep the Crimea, Ukraine will become a sort of poor mans Canada/Belgium/Switzerland and Russia will resume gas deliveries. Peace in Europe garanteed and yet another step is set towards Paris-Berlin-Moscow alliance of 700 million, nuclear armed to the teeth.

Meanwhile, the US, as long as it remains a colony of the Nudelmans, will keep making enemies of the 1.5 billion muslims of this world, just because of a stupid insignificant piece of land in the ME. On a geopolitical level, the US is outright held hostage by Israel.

So let me see…

700 million Europeans
1.3 billion Chinese
1.5 billion muslims
100 million American constitutionalists, allied to Europe

Paulo, My understanding is that they took over a large part of Iraq’s weapons and ammunitions depots during their offensive in the last few months. Considering the many billions in cash, gold, and guns and ammo they are supposed to have stolen as the Iraqui soldiers ran for their lives in their underwear( actual reports, not my BS) during ISIS offensive, I don’t expect them to need guns or ammo for a while. My guess is they are very well supplied right now with light and heavy weapons, tanks, APCs, and lots of ammo and desperately poor volunteers short of better choices.

How bad an ISIS intervention will be for the civilian population will depend on whether they decide to try to use them as hymn shields. So far Israel has denied Hamas that leverage to a fair degree. I suspect if ISIS is more effective at killing Israel civilians the Hamas has been and decides to do it from areas with large civilian population Israel will continue accepting the collateral damage whether it’s in Gaza, Jordon, Iraq, etc.

One of the very best reasons to avoid warn it’s at all possible…collateral damage. But what has to be done to win a battle is one. Just like the 40,000 French civilians killed by allied fire from the start of the D-day invasion. The invasion demanded destroying the German military. Much of those forces occupied the French towns and thus those towns has to attacked. Towns which unfortunately contained civilians. And then the allies eventually justified entire German towns as an attempt to break the will of the civilian population. And then ramped that logic up tremendously by nuking two civilian populations in Japan. Those victims as well as the German civilian weren’t collateral damage as the Palestinians appear to be…they were THE target. War IS hell…especially for civilians.
