Future Humans: How Many Of Us Will There Be?

NPR YouTube

Planet Earth is a vast place, with humans scattered all over it.

But how we’re distributed is far from even. About half of the planet’s 7.5 billion people live in just seven countries. China tops the list with over 1.4 billion people, while its neighbor India is catching up fast at 1.3 billion. Though far below the billion mark, the United States comes in third, with about 325 million people. Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan and Nigeria round out the top seven.

Dividing the world up by continents can give a sense of where the world’s population is clustered. North and South America combined have about a billion people. Africa has 1.3 billion, and Europe is at 742 million. And then there’s Asia, with 4 1/2 billion people. That’s more than half of the humans on Earth.

How many more people will there be in the next hundred years? The United Nations estimated in a report released Wednesday that by 2100, the human population will actually stop growing.

By then, the U.N. predicts that more people will live in cities, make more money, have more to eat, get better health care and have fewer kids.

There will probably be about another half-billion people in Asia and 3 billion more in Africa, which is currently the continent with the youngest average age.

If the U.N. estimate holds up, there will eventually be 11.2 billion people living on Planet Earth, about 50 percent more than the current 7.5 billion. And 80 percent of future earthlings will live on just two continents — Asia and Africa.

This is a typical dreamy technocrat article but disturbing to someone like me who is honest about the dangers of overpopulation. I would like to know where Africa is going to put another 3BIL people? I would like to know how we are going to feed another 4BIL. Yet, the UN predicts:
“By then, the U.N. predicts that more people will live in cities, make more money, have more to eat, get better health care and have fewer kids.”

This is just plain craziness and people believe it.

ANOTHER HEAT RECORD BROKEN: HOTTEST JUNE 22 IN NETHERLANDS EVER

“This is the 9th heat record broken in the country so far this year and the third one this month, according to Weeronline.

February 15th, March 30th and 31st, May 27th and 29th and June 15th and 21st also broke heat records.

Today is exceptionally hot in the Netherlands, especially in the southeast with maximums ranging between 33 and 35 degrees. Some places may even hit 36 degrees Celsius.”

When the strongest denier is confronted with the real world day after day, (s)he either has to accept reality or run from it and hide. Climate change and Western collapse is becoming more and more evident and is difficult to ignore. For every propaganda piece that proclains that all is well and that we have millenia to keep doing what we are doing, there are thousands of real world pieces that say otherwise.

I focus on the area I live in, Asia, and what is happening there as it most affects my future. I also watch the FSofA as I have friends and family there and it is the most likely powder keg to exp;ode when the SHTF. It is trying so hard to start a war that it will soon have a financial coronary if it doesn’t. I am watching for that event as it will mark the end of the empire.

    R.I.P. Cloggie. It was fun.

This June month won’t be the hottest in the Netherlands, but #6 (17.3C). The coming week will be moderate with 22 degrees. The hottest June here was in 1976, 41 years ago (18.0C):

    http://www.weer.nl/nieuws/detail/2017-06-20-juni-2017-op-weg-naar-een-warmterecord/

My vegetables are growing like crazy though.lol

Nevertheless, on a planetary scale, June 2017 was indeed the hottest June in recorded history.

When the strongest denier is confronted with the real world day after day, (s)he either has to accept reality or run from it and hide.

As I have said a few days ago, I am not running from anything, but instead having interviews with potential clients to begin the (possibly) last year of my IT consultancy career and make sufficient money to bridge the handful remaining years until my pension in 2023. My house is already paid off, have no debt, with 130 m2 garden I’m self-sufficient in food production, electricity production likewise.

The last missing item on my prepper todo list is a thermal solar space heating installation, for which I have 13m x 1.6 m = 21 m2 garden fence available. It will consist of glass covered black solar panels, which will give me additional electricity, as well as heated air between the panels and glass cover. That “heated” air can be used as cold side input for an electric heat pump…

    https://www.amazon.com/WYS012-17-Air-Conditioner-Inverter-Ductless/dp/B01DVW6G06/ref=sr_1_1

…sufficient to heat my living room of 32 m2. Total cost something like 6-8k euro.

    [part 1]

  12. Cloggie on Sat, 24th Jun 2017 4:54 am

So I have stopped regular daily postings like in the past and concentrate on money-making. Had interviews in Switzerland, Belgium last week and coming week in Holland. Something will come out of it.

    R.I.P. Cloggie. It was fun.

Sure makati, but forget about the RIP-part.

I have repeatedly said that I do not deny thermometer readings. What I do deny is makati’s and apneaman’s claim to have absolute knowledge of where this is all going. And what really puts me off is this juvenile, nihilistic, gleeful Schadenfreude that it apparently is all going downhill (or so you hope) and making a mockery of everybody/everything that is busy doing something about it.

    https://deepresource.wordpress.com/2017/06/23/tu-eindhoven-presents-stella-vie/

But nevertheless, makati and apneaman can make themselves very useful (for the Greater European cause that is):

My division of labor consists of makati helping Europe by talking Amerika and it’s empire further into the ground, like you have done for years, much to the (understandable) chagrin of Davy.

Of apneaman to help Europe by further turning Amerika into a third world country, by promoting race mixing and mass migration from the third world, like your tribe has done for decades, so that nobody needs to take the US serious anymore and as such help destroy your own powerbase. The more nihilism the better, bring it on.lol

When finally, inevitable, the US left and right will go at each others throat, all Europe needs to do is take its part of the American Pie:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAsV5-Hv-7U

Wikipedia: “In February 2015, McLean announced he would reveal the meaning of the lyrics to the song when the original manuscript went for auction in New York City, in April 2015. The lyrics and notes were auctioned on April 7, and sold for $1.2 million. In the sale catalogue notes, McLean revealed the meaning in the song’s lyrics: “Basically in American Pie things are heading in the wrong direction. … It [life] is becoming less idyllic.”

The European Americans will thank us for it. This time the liberation will be real one.

“Flooding Across the GTA Will Only Get Worse With Climate Change”

But 3 years ago the alarmists were worried about decades of future low water levels? Methinks short term climate variability doesn’t make for long term trends, just the headline du jour.

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/great-lakes-low-water-levels-could-cost-19b-by-2050-1.2688415

Mark Fisher, who heads the council, said there’s a “very real future” where the region could be plagued by low-water trends.
“When you look at the last 13 years, we’ve gone through the longest period of low water levels in our history,” he said.
Lake Michigan-Huron had the lowest water level ever recorded for the lake in January 2013.

Hey what about the other 10,000 headlines around the world in the last week about record breaking heatwaves and wildfires and floods and the infrastructure damage they caused and the people they injured and killed? Are they are alarmist too? They should be except nothing gets through the brain washing of retard deniers. We’ll see how self assured you are when it’s one of your loved ones who is the next homeless, hospitalized or dead victim of AGW consequences. It’s a when not an if. We will likely be the last man standing and likely bailing you Euro pansies out yet again. How many times do we need to save you from yourselves?

I have explained to you many times that you never ever bailed us out and you were never able to refute my explanation, namely that you just destroyed us with your Soviet buddies, who btw did most of the work. You folks will always obey the orders of your kosher masters… until we will set you free, like we set you free from the British in 1776. Americans are the pussies. They get their asses kicked by third rate tiny North-Vietnamese (the French in contrast just walked in and held id for decades), can’t get 7th century Afghanistan under control, not even after 16 years and in WW2 you showed up when the show was almost over (apart from bombing women and children from safe altitude). As Pat Buchanan justly diagnosed: Americans are lousy imperialists. America was a mistake. Dutch weapons and French troops pushed you into independence, only to give that up 100 years later to the TalmudTurks from the Ukraine, like Apneaman. When this is all over you are going to be parked in a European Commonwealth as our juniors.

You are now on the verge of becoming a third world country that will soon explode in an orgy of violence. Just keep praying that the 700 million of Europe will come to your rescue, like in 1776, when your “revolution” was going nowhere.

Clog, I don’t need to respond to history revisions, embellishments, and disguised lies. This just shows how much of a failure Europeans like you are that you have to invent a history to justify your weakness. 700MIL people is too many people in a world in overshoot so that argument is egg on your face. The US has never been run from the battlefield. If we lost wars it was for political reasons. We could have wiped Vietnam off the map but instead decided rightly to leave he place. The US military actions of the late 20th century were a failure. They were part of the Cold War and the Cold War was a Euro failure. Do you see the pattern? Europe is the reason for so many human failures so go blow hot air somewhere else. You are nothing special clog and your EU is going down the drain along with the rest of us.

Canadian Cancers eating as much as they can while they can.

Canadians pile up debt faster than anyone in the world

Econ-o-Metric: The risks are rising as Canada’s borrowing binge accelerates

“Canada is piling up private debt (households and corporations) faster than any other developed economy, according to a new report by David MacDonald, an economist at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. Canadian households and companies have added debt worth $1 trillion since 2011, pushing the total to $4.4 trillion, or 218 percent of gross domestic product.”

The trend: We like it when The Economist calls us cool. But in its latest issue, the magazine noticed something else about we Canadians: our addiction to debt, noting in one of two articles on the subject that Canada’s burden is among the “highest anywhere.” The warnings are piling up.”

    Jawagord-

As is most typical of the denialists, it’s make a stupid comment, then when confronted by someone vastly more knowledgeable and intelligent who tears your argument to shreds, as Ape has done, never a reply to support your position.

  26. makati1 on Sat, 24th Jun 2017 6:33 pm

As usual, Davy is spouting his own version of revisionist history. The U$ did not win Korea or Vietnam because they tried to bomb them out of existence and failed. Also, they would not have been the ‘victor’ in WW3 if the Russians had not done the dirty work for them. He is proof that the ‘revised’ history he was taught, and believes, was successful in his brainwashing. The U$ is all bluster and bullshit, and always has been. Too ‘exceptional’ to fight their own wars now, they destroy countries using their IS terrorists, without success in that area also.

But blow back is a bitch and it is fast coming to the U$. I hope it is in the same measure they have been doling out these last 500 years to everyone else. OUCH!

  27. Davy on Sat, 24th Jun 2017 7:55 pm

Sure makati, maybe read my comment again so you don’t look so stupid. I did not talk about winning any wars and I did not even bring up WW2 that you mistakenly called WW3, which is an unconscious slip up for something that is always on your mind you war glutton. You are worse than cloggie with the lies, revisions, and the embellishments. Is this what happens when you get too old?

  28. makati1 on Sat, 24th Jun 2017 8:27 pm

Davy, you cannot ignore reality (or the consequences) by not mentioning it in your rebuttal. I point out the past revision of American history and you want to ignore it.

THAT is why blow-back is going to cause great pain and suffering in America. They/You have zero understanding of why it is going to happen. And it is so well deserved. Americans think the world is theirs to take what they want and make ‘the other guy’ pay for it. Bullshit! “Stupid” is the face you see in the mirror.

BTW: If Trump keeps fucking up in the ME, Korea and Ukraine, WW3 is only a short time in the future and Russia will fire the first 1,000 nukes at the U$, probably in the middle of your night as that will be midday in Russia. Sleep well. LMAO

From Ap’s link above “Miami’s temperature dropped to 82 degrees on Tuesday, breaking a 1920 record of 81.”
I was out at the farm that morning trying to beat the Sun and was amazed at how hot and humid it was at 6 am. The heat index was in the 90s. All in all climate change has been gentle with Miami; what will do us in here is sea level rise. June was very wet and the Florida drought is over as the article pointed out. It took three weeks to soak out that drought 😉

  31. makati1 on Sat, 24th Jun 2017 11:05 pm

Davy, I could give you dozens of recent articles pointing out the revisions you believe, as being U$ lies. You would not read them. So why bother. I don’t expect to change a lifetime of your brainwashing with a few articles by reputable sources. Just pointing out the fact that your version is not truth. It’s propaganda.

Do a little research on your own and see, but you will not. You don’t want to see that the U$ was founded on the blood and resources of others (Indian natives)and has never changed its methods since Columbus. It has been blood and plunder ever since and will soon be brought to an abrupt end. When? Maybe this year. Maybe a few years, but soon and maybe tonight.

Russia can radioactively glaze over much of the Lower 48 in a few minutes. 5-30 depending where you live and where the missiles are fired from (Russia or their subs). The U$ “defenses” are antique and useless. The Russian missiles are state-of-the-art new and they have plenty of them scattered all around the world. Most American nukes are 20-30 years old and may not even work. Ditto for U$ ‘defense’ missiles. But, you don’t want to believe that. You prefer the propaganda you have been fed since birth. I prefer facing the real world and its possibilities.

JuanP, I live in the S.E corner of Australia and grew up through the 70’s and 80’s in a climate that had typically dry summers. Then I noticed a shift in the type of heat we experienced during summer.

They steadily became quite humid, feeling like the summers up north. We had an overnight record of 35 deg C no too long ago. It has reached a point now where evaporative coolers are nearly redundant.

I am experiencing one of the nicest springs ever here in central Missouri. I don’t remember ever having the windows open so much. Rains have been very good making everything verdant and healthy. This is important when you are grazing animals. I don’t expect this to last and I suspect when the pattern does break the heat will be oppressive. Yet, who knows when the pattern will break because normal is no longer part of climate and weather is becoming different everywhere. I have read my region may not feel the brunt of climate change initially because there will be more periods of rain due to the increased moisture in the atmosphere. That of course will change eventually with increased overall heat. I am already resign to summers that will be horrible and eventually summers that are not health for habitation in the mid continents regions of the world where I am.

Summary of the Great Southwest U.S. Heat Wave of 2017

“The great Southwest U.S. heat wave of 2017 is gradually diminishing, but it has left behind hundreds of smashed heat records, including at least four all-time hottest temperature marks for major stations. According to wunderground weather historian Christopher C. Burt, this week’s event has been the most intense heat wave yet recorded to affect the Southwest so early in the summer, coming about a week earlier than the previous great June heat waves that have affected the Southwest, like those of 2013, 1990 and 1994.
All-time hottest temperatures tied or broken during the heat wave:

Las Vegas, NV: 117° on June 20, tied the all-time record for the airport, which has a Period of Record (POR) back to 1937. However, there was a 118° reading measured by the official USWB COOP site on July 26, 1931.

Needles, CA: 125° on June 20, tied the all-time record. 126° was attained for a minute or two at one point, but not the 5-minute period needed to be deemed official. Previously, 125° was measured on June 20, 2016, and on July 17, 2005. POR: back to 1940.

Ocotillo Wells, CA: 124° on June 21, hottest temperature ever measured in San Diego County.

Prescott, AZ: 105° on June 21, tied the all-time record set on July 17, 1925. POR back to 1898.”
