Jeremy Leggett sets out what will happen if we run out of oil or run out of fossil fuels. If the world oil reserves run out, it would cause a global oil crash which would severely affect business and life as we now know it. However, peak oil could lead to a revolution in green technology.

A hopeful optimistic transition?
Is it possible. I fear that individuals and society have not been very good at working together for the common good. The greed is good gang seems to have taken over the world economy. The top 1% want it all and seem to be willing to destroy the earth and individuals to get it. Our transition to a more sustainable society is yet to be seen. Let’s hope we get there.
