Is there a fairly simple guide to building oil depletion models? I recall Albert Bartlett saying that the equation for predicting the depletion of a finite resource was a freshman calculus level equation. If such a document doesn't exist, it might be a nice item for the FAQ. Some newbies might like to try out the numbers for themselves, at least if they're reasonably numerate.
