Game: Fallout 3 (merged)

Unread postby Zechs » Fri 11 Feb 2005, 03:28:54

If I get to enjoy one thing before the TSHTF, this game would be it. I WANT THIS GAME. I truly loved the first game. The second was good, but not as good as the first.

Please, oh please, let them release this game in time. 8O

This is something that came along too late for me - all these cool video games. Many years ago I was totally hooked of Ms. Pacman. Racked up some big points until my wrists started to ache from using those old joy sticks. My kids tried to no avail to get me in with this stuff. Any of you ever played PONG? Ha, gotcha there I'll bet!

When I was very young, I had a PONG console with two knobs and a red reset button.

Sorry, no Jato. I didn't wear glasses in those old days. I played pong on a Commodore 64!

Yes, I played Pong. Good Fun.

But, Fallout 1 was so much better.

Fallout 3: Gaming for doomers

Unread postby Aimrehtopyh » Sat 16 Jun 2007, 02:31:01

I know there are a few Fallout fans around here, so I thought I'd mention this.

Rumors surrounding the resurrection (or final death) of the Fallout series have been circulating for years. Finally, it seems, real progress is being made towards another installment.

On here you should find scans of an article in Game Informer magazine with extensive screen shots and descriptions of what might become Fallout 3. Look for "News for Saturday, June 16, 2007".

Did they ever release a Mac version of Fallout? I'll be darned, look at this. I never though hippies would be into something as dark and violent as Fallout.

I wasn't referring to you specifically, just Mac users ([smilie=XXhippylove.gif]) in general.

It is good news for PC gamers like myself.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am salivating over the Bioshock preview videos. Bioshock presents a less plausible storyline than Fallout, but it does involve the end of a civilization.

The last time there was a peakoil.com thread on Fallout3, I said and will say again: If they take any longer making Fallout3 then it will end up being a live-action-roleplaying game.
