I’ve had a quick couple of reads of that. The idea that we are going to un invent everything, all go out to farms and live in this middle world local economy is, well, beyond the bounds of science fiction. As a species we just aren’t made like that. How would information be exchanged? Is he suggesting we all live in ignorance? And who said anything about resources being located where we need them? People have always fought to gain access to other people's resources as soon as word gets around that 'them' down the road have got something community X wants..
