You cannot base decisions with 100% surety on this crap.

False codes will be obtained by multiplying the legitimate code (5 digits) by 100, then adding
1 at a time until a number is found with no matches in the database. THIS IS NOT PERFECT but as
there is no central repository for WMO codes - especially made-up ones - we'll have to chance
duplicating one that's present in one of the other databases. In any case, anyone comparing WMO
codes between databases - something I've studiously avoided doing except for tmin/tmax where I
had to - will be treating the false codes with suspicion anyway. Hopefully.

You must not have gotten the memo. In the USA, we cause much less damage to the environment that we did 30-40 years ago. Smog levels in Los Angeles are lower than they were 20 years ago. It is places like India and China that you need to worry about. China's atmosphere is so polluted that you can't even see more than a half-mile in most cities. They can learn to pollute less, same as we did.

You cause less damage because you outsourced it to China. Who will be loaning you money and do actual work for you if Chinese will outsource theirs too? And where that might be, Philipines, Bangladesh? They are pretty busy already.

Anyways, I can assure you that the planet is finite and that you wont make winds and currents illegal.
So you and/or your spawn will get your portion regardless.
