This Mod East conflict predates all of us here.

If I had the power I would evacuate Israel to Puerto Rico or California, every one who would come, and then just pull out and let the local sects and ideologies beat one another to death.

Of course that is just a silly fantasy, but I do like to indulge.

Another country is now firing off ballistic missiles..........Iran just fired on both Iraq and Syria.

Image
Now we've got Hamas, Israel, Hezbollah, the Houthis.....AND IRAN shooting off missiles in the middle east

Apparently the missile strike on Iraq hit the city of Erbil and came quite close to US facilities there.

As usual, Joe Biden didn't do anything or say anything in response.

One can only assume Joe Biden is secretly arranging to send Iran another five billion dollars through his back channel.

Cheers!

Some 7 million barrels of crude oil and products transit the Red Sea daily, compared to 18 million barrels that transit the Strait of Hormuz

Some years a Fart in Venezuela is used as justification to hike the price, then we have today where it stays low even with all the Russian oil off the Western market and Saudi Arabia slashing production.

Makes Peter Zeihan sound smarter all the time.

One of his main turning points is the US stepping back from assuring world shipping. This sounds just like such a tipping poin.

The Houthis just successfully hit an oil tanker and reportedly it's on fire

Houthi attack on oil tanker sets it one fire...

One has to wonder what Joe Biden will do now?

Clearly his policy of bombing the Houthis has failed to deter them from attacking shipping.

So will Joe expand his little war on the Houthis?

Or will Joe Biden once again slink away the way he did in Afghanisatan?

Who's afraid of the Houthis?

Cheers!

It's interesting the number of biblical prophecies that have come to pass in the past several decades. I just found this one, written thousands of years ago.

Amo 1:1 The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Amo 1:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:
Amo 1:7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
Amo 1:8 And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

The Philistines are the ancestors of the Palestinians according to many scholars. In the Acts of the Apostles, Gaza is mentioned as being on the desert route from Jerusalem to Ethiopia. The city was on the border of Israel and Egypt in the southwest part of Israel near the Mediterranean Sea. Right where it is today.
