How to save energy through both societal and individual actions.

Thanks, Formula One

If car racing wasn't bad enough vis-a-vis of environmental and fuel constraints, the Formula One circus now joined the club of night races with the Singapore Grand Prix. It is estimated 4 megawatts will be required to lit the circuit. Nice. Thanks, Formula One!

Be said, I'm a huge fan of motor sports, a bit of a gearhead myself, but there must be a limit to excesses.

(Would a moderator please find a better suited place for this? I couldn't find a car racing or a night sports thread. Thanks.)
