Summer's just getting started down here tf...we've got real green shoots in New Zealand right now :)
and of course the usual UV warnings as the ozone hole works it's magic...kids at the beach these days look like desert nomads with all the clothing they are made to wear to avoid burning- how come we get the sodding hole in the ozone? Surely if there was any justice in the world it would be in the northern hemisphere where the majority of pollution comes from :x
Anyway it's a sweet spring Sunday I'm off for a walk, enjoy your autumn :)

well thanks for the comment
New Zealand is on the other side of the wobble, that's cool
The reason we make the most polution is in part the north has the majority of the land .
About 800 miles to the north there is the greatest man made disaster in the world going on it's the oil sands, with new data that the oil sand extend from british columbia then to Alberta then to Saskatchewan, there I go saying things of controversy.
so let it be said so let it done

It's a beautiful late summer here. The trees are just beginning to turn a little, but the days are still warm. The ground has dried up nicely, which makes it nice to do outdoor projects. I dug my potatoes, weeded the asparagus bed and stacked a couple of cords of wood yesterday that we'll use to make maple syrup in the spring.

Still in all, it's almost fall.
Deep in the mud and slime of things, even there, something sings.
