In classic Arab acts of futility, the president dodged the shoes quite well, TWICE. Quite a metaphor. A lame act by a lame journalist. Bush laughed it off and made the comment about things like this happen in a free country. Strange, I didn' t notice the Arab press commenting on how the journalist would have been killed along with his entire family just 7 years ago. Short memories and futile acts.
