posting problems

Unread postby NEOPO » Tue 17 Oct 2006, 23:34:45

I am having a hard time posting lately so I tend to "cut" my posts just in case they do not go through.
Currently I am unable to post something that did not "preview" "post" yesterday.

Are we using something to prevent "cut and paste" posts.
Maybe a setting to prevent viagra salespeople from attacking the forum?

If you get a 406 error, it is because some character in your cut and paste post is kicked out by our hacker filter.

The accent in Spanish language is one.

I've had that happen with a copy/pasted asterisk. Sometimes it's pert near impossible to find the offending character.

Asterisk are typically wild-card characters for computers.

Hackers use them in some hacks...

Sorry
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

If you are cutting and pasting text from somewhere, it may have special characters in it that are kicked out by our hacker screen.

Try pasting it in Notepad or some other format free editor first.

An appropriate representation of the requested gate could not be found on this server.

That's what I got on an otherwise blank white screen when i tried to post a few minutes ago. Wierd. I posted just fine about three minutes before that.

Any ideas?
