Peak Oil Music

Unread postby Revi » Wed 27 Mar 2019, 10:10:24

I found a couple of great songs about Peak Oil. There's Peak Oil by Old Hack and Friends, Peak Oil by Agitprop 666 and the country version, Peak Oil by Sputnik Weasel and Hector Gubbins. They're all pretty good, but the one by Agitprop is the best with quotes by lots of Peak Oil faves like Heinberg and Kunstler.

Here's a review of Agitprop's song which says they didn't like the guitar on this song. At least they noticed it!

takes an American to point to a Canadian cowboy singer! I've seen him along with Ian Tyson in a small bar like atmosphere years ago.
Both have foothills area ranches in southern Alberta, Lund towards Cardston and Tyson in Longview.
