THE Peak Oiler Celebrity Obituary Thread

Unread postby asg70 » Wed 11 Sep 2019, 21:23:30

The modern peak oil movement has been waiting for doomsday long enough to see significant attrition from the ranks of those who crowed the loudest. Mike Ruppert, Matt Simmons, Al Bartlett, Kenneth S. Deffeyes, all gone. Did I miss any up to this point?

I thought it would be suitable to start a thread on this topic because T Boone Pickens has joined the list.

Who do you think will be next?

My money's on Roscoe Bartlett, who as someone in his 90s is far more likely to die of natural causes than to have to put his doomstead to use.

BOLD PREDICTIONS
-Billions are on the verge of starvation as the lockdown continues. (yoshua, 5/20/20)

HALL OF SHAME:
-Short welched on a bet and should be shunned.
-Frequent-flyers should not cry crocodile-tears over climate-change.
