Here is the deal. Azerbaijan really wants to be Europe's energy supplier and that's why it started the TAP project. At the moment it stuck in Italy because local authorities defend the olive trees that will be destroyed if the pipe goes through Apulia.

As for me, I believe the construction delay will significantly increase the cost of the whole project and that is not good for the consumers and investors. So what Azerbaijan will do next? Is that project alive or it will repeat the fate of the Nabucco?
