I couldn't find this on the internet (without having to install some software I don't trust). (Hits had been removed on Youtube, etc).

I couldn't find it on DVD.

If it's such a great film, I'm surprised I can't see it without traveling a long way for some local viewing, or trying to get it from some sketchy and likely illegal source.

If I could safely see it for a reasonable price, I might have a comment (good or bad).
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.

Thanks! Here's a preview:

Rewind it to the beginning. I don't know why it starts at 51 seconds!

If you want a copy, PM me. I am helping out with another film, The Day My Brother Robbed a Bank, and I use any money from selling DVD's to fund that.

Nelson Cole did a really great job on this with New Farmer Films.

He finished it in late 2016 and now it's 2018, so it's time to post it on Youtube.

Almost 150 views. I guess it's getting some interest from the world on YouTube! We made it in 2016 and I showed it around Maine. At the Good Life Center which continued the Nearing's Monday night meeting tradition, at Transition meetings and on the coast. I think it's a way to get across my obsession with Peak Oil. As Nelson Cole says, he wasn't trying to prove anything with the film. It's just a look at how I felt and thought during that time. Lately I am used to knowing about Peak Oil and what is going to happen. I really don't want it to happen, but it's pretty much inevitable now. At least it will keep climate change from getting worse unless we discover some way to burn cheap coal...

163 views. Not as many as other vids we have done, but it's a start. We had one with 250,000 views and it got messed up, so we had to relaunch it. It's called Infinity Miles Per Gallon: Art Haines and the electric car.

I really don't know how lucky any of us will be in the future. I don't even know if staying in one place is a good idea. Lately I have begun to think about getting a bug out vehicle which would work even if it gets nasty. Maybe a 40 foot sailboat with solar panels and wind generator. That way at least you could get away from troubles. Maybe it's just wishful thinking... Whatever happens it seems like there's not too much time left! Check this out!

You'll find it to be pretty easy to watch Pstarr, thanks to Nelson Cole who edited down over 100 hours of footage and really made it into a nice film! There is great music also thanks to King Pig and Caleb Orion!

I was amazed at how deadpan they were about it. Surely they realize the implications. Very businesslike.
I was obsessed with Peak Oil for years, and now here it is. I wonder when the rest of the world will catch on?

Maybe they already have...

I don't think most people think about the peak at all. The big problem is going to be trying to figure out how to make ends meet when cars become too expensive for even an average guy to keep. There will still be some working vehicles, but they will be used to lug things and people for hire. I know it's hard to imagine, but in a lot of countries it's the norm now.
