What did Marx have to say about the creation of money?

Nothing spectacular. He thought that the money are worth as much as it costs to mine the gold from which they are minted. As orthodox as any orthodox economics textbook.

Spectacularly stupid & not orthodox economics at all, else just let people print their own or whatever. Currency starts off as deemed value & is worth agreed value. A postage stamp can go from a cent to a million dollars & a million dollars may not buy you a postage stamp. That's economics, not what it costs to mint coins.
