You don't follow this stuff much, do you. There are, in fact, petitions going around to overhaul the DNC. Leaders like Robert Reich have been calling for major changes. I could hunt down the links, but really, they're not hard to find.

Maybe taking a second or two to do a search before making vast sweeping statements may help you seem a bit more...informed in these matters.

Just a suggestion. :) :) :)

There have been petitions to rewrite the Democratic Party rules ever since Chicago's old Mayor Daley ruled the party with an iron fist in the early 1960's. It is never going to happen, because the party establishment is in charge, likes being in charge, and intends to go on being in charge for as long as possible.

John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert were the last two who attempted to change the rules, and the Democratic establishment punished them for their impudence.

It's kind of an addiction for you folks, isn't it.

You need to change the words a bit for the song to fit you...sing along...

I think Hillsry should form a government in exile.

IMHO She should slip across the border into Mexico and declare herself the legitimate president of the United States. She did win the popular vote after all

Cheers

California is where most of her extra votes came from, why not declare herself Queen of Cascadia and take the west coast states as her new Empire like Ibon suggested?

Great idea

Gov Jerry Brown of California already said he wanted to build a wall around California to keep out the evil Americans. If President in exile Hillary establishes her government in exile in California then Jerry Brown's Wall could eventually be fortified and patrolled by wealthy elite Silicon Valley investors on segways armed with toy drones

I wouldn't wish a Hillary government on anybody. Even the poor misguided residents of California.

As opposed to if he had lost, the potential for war with Russia immediately takes over the conversation. Peace with Russia is worth a buffoon Presidency in a lot of folks books. Yanks bitching too much about illegals suggests they prefer not having to pay legal minimum wages for their nanny, gardener, driver, or for the cost of food needing to rise to meet basic living wages for harvest workers.

Hillary had a Guatemalan housecleaner who also printed out the top secret messages arriving on Hillary s home server. It was like something out of a crazy Monte Python skit

Reports this morning that Trump has said he will not pursue Hillary any further in regards to her Email misconduct.

I think that is a wise decision that saves everyone a lot of time and money. After all punishment should fit the crime and what better punishment for HRC then to have to spend every day of the rest of her life beholden to President or Ex president Trump? Her every waking hour for the next four to eight years are going to be her own personal hell on earth.

Well that might encourage them to pay for a wall after all.

VT,
That should probably go on the Healing the Divide thread as well as here.

If that's true then good for Trump. I think we are all sick of this bickering.

We are kinda like a couple of adolescent kids who have been watching Mom and Dad have their marriage break up in a very nasty prolonged fight. "And they want custody of us? NFW!"

We just want to go out and drink rot gut to get the taste outta our mouths.

As there was no camera rolling inside the CNN headquarters on election night we will have to make do with this reenactment. :-D

I'm wondering about the quiet from the Hillary camp with respect to the recount effort. Not like her. Could be wrong.

Also, just thinking about her personality, my suspicion is that she has some kind of physical break in the next 4 years, goes down hill. She has spent so much juice to get elected and didn't. Will she have the will to go on. I thought Bill looked pretty played also.

Will be interesting to see.

Either that or she is sitting there calling super delegates in prep for the 2020 run!

She talked herself into a corner by ridiculing Trump's unwillingness to vow not to challenge the election results. Perhaps that was the whole reason for his making those claims?

So your saying he's smarter than her?

Not in my book.

BTW, she just joined the recount effort.

Stein pulled 51,000 votes from Hillary in Michigan. She lost by 10,000. Go blame Trump on well educated white women.

So now the Clinton machine wants to play "lets find 10,000 missing votes" in some back room. I look forward to the anarchy ahead should she find them.

Hillary knows she can't find enough votes to win.

She just wants to spread disinformation and trash people's belief in our electoral system and our democracy. Hillary lost the election and now she wants to slime our country.
