Giuliani - "Don't conserve too much!"

Unread postby grabby » Wed 02 Aug 2006, 23:31:50

I was watching Oreilly factor and gooliani stated he was running for prez.
He also said we have to block the border but also accept them as citizens etc etc

Then Oreilly asked about oil, and he agreed it was too expensive and we should produce more ethanol and drill more.
Oreilly goes"We need a Marshall plan for conservation!"

And Gooly says, "something like
You shouldn't conserve TOO much because that would be bad for the economy then he talks more about ethanol and biodiesel and drilling more.

So, the next prez will be a limited conservationist. Thinking OVERCONSERVATION may will hurt the economy.

There goew the ball game.

Why do they call themselves conservatives when they are always so opposed to conserving things?

Giuliani as president? Oh man are we in for some fun. Maybe he'll declare himself emperor?

I liked him better on Seinfeld. 8)

(Hardcore fans will understand)

Seriously, though, Giuliani most likely doesn't see the whole picture and is probably just assuming that the status quo two years ago will resume once again. Why conserve if the crisis is only temporary?

Screw Around On Your Wife Giuliani? Please!! He couldn't even beat a light weight like Hillary Clinton in the New York Senate race! That’s why he withdrew. Running for President? Gag me with a spoon!!

In ultra liberal NY - no way.
In national election maybe different story - the Hildabeast has very high negatives.
Course down here in the south we don't like Giuliani much either because he is anti second ammendment!

Giuliani as Pres? I can't see it. He's waaaay too far to the left on social issues (abortion and gay marriage) for the base of the republican party.

He lived with gay men after his divorce! Gay men! Gay men! Gay men!!! :)

I don't think he survives the primary, let alone win the presidency. He's too vulnerable on his right flank.

He paid his dues, he can be trusted by the party, and he has a democratic flavor. A real guy, Amricas leaders can count on him!.

He gave a wonderful well prepared speech, a minute man, always ready. He will be ready to lead us through the next which will take us into Iren next, probably.
He knows the ropes in politics and won't get out of step and look stupid already been tested.

Their election call is WE GOT TROUBLE, GUILIANI HAS GONE THROUGH IT ALREADY"

He is good at watching his step now, and he will do whatever needs to be done no questions asked.

I saw that particular segment, I was amazed, yet that "dont conserve to much" is a real bean-counters point of view. He'll never be president.

Because conservation is a self-imposed recession is why.

Yep, and that's why we will never, ever, ever see politicians who wish to continue to have a political career call for any kind of serious conservation. We saw exactly what would happen to such a politician (Jimmy Carter). The end of a political career.
