I would like to know the authors of the books as well as the book's name. I would like to read more literature on peak oil.

The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

I think you probably know more than you need to know for you to have made a judgement about peak oil. Why don't you start taking some classes or reading books to learn new skills?

.
A good place to start is Daniel Yergin "the quest" a very well researched book about oil and gas by a top expert
He is the prominent advocate of cornucopia , read his arguments , check them and think about it .
then read Jean Laherrere ,he has the distinction of being the most accurate in predicting crude extraction numbers ,co-author of an 1998 Scientific American article entitled "The End of Cheap Oil".
note it's not about the end of oil , but about the end of CHEAP oil
