If you've made your economy totally and utterly reliant on oil and the oil supply decreases, it is only natural you will experience economic contraction.
History repeats itself. Just everytime with different characters and players.

Totally agreed and you make it sound so simple!! But Why the hell do ZERO policitions/business folk talk about it ( at least openly) and why do I feel like 1 in 10,000 trying to explain it to people!!!

Crazy ol' world!

Because of the dogma that all progress happens due to hard work and innovation, and if you try really hard, you can achieve anything. The protestant ethic, that is the cornerstone of capitalism.

Admitting the huge influence of natural resources, geographical factors and other aspects of materialistic determinism would break this mindset apart and destroy the system from within. Therefore those ideas must be suppressed.

The second link (poaec.com) took me to GoDaddy. No joy from Danica either.

A very busy piece but I suppose you want it to be that fast paced. The charts are flipping by way too fast to read and understand but again that is a choice you have made. The hardest thing is trying to read white letters as they rapidly scroll over images with a lot of white background. Things you want to really sink in should be white on a solid backdrop and scrolling slower or not at all. JMHO.
