Most of world population backs globalism, not local movements

Most of world population backs globalism, not local movements thumbnail

Maybe populist political movements don’t have as much support as often presumed.

The global public favors cooperation between nations, thinks immigration is a good thing and believes climate scientists, according to a poll of 10,000 people in every region of the world.

The poll was commissioned by the and will be discussed at panels at this year’s meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

People in Southeast Asia and Africa were the strongest believers in countries working together, with 88 per cent saying it’s extremely or very important. The least enthusiastic region was Western Europe, where 61 per cent held that view. Worldwide, the figure was 76 per cent, and in North America 70 per cent.

A global majority of 57 per cent said were “mostly good” for their new country, but only 40 per cent of Eastern Europeans thought so. Despite the continuing standoff in the US over building a wall along the Mexican border, 66 percent of North Americans had a positive view of migrants.

One theme where there’s less optimistic is social mobility, with only 20 per cent of Western Europeans and 34 percent of Americans saying it’s common to be born poor and become rich.

Across the world, 54 per cent have trust in But in North America only 17 per cent do.

Haha, they want to prey and jump on the white world. Of course they want immigration. Nothing against cooperation though, as long as you stay in your own shithole.

Europeans have more self-respect than Americans and are more proud. Or, in empire-speak: Europeans are more “racist” (and proud of it). It is like with virginity, you can p*ss yourself away only once. Europeans realize that far better.

    – Resolute historic revisionism
    – PBM + China founding and backing identitarian world order, with entire world cooperating but segregated in “Great Civilizations”, cooperating in a world-encompassing round table organisation

(((Robert Reich))) wants to impeach Trump.
It is time that European America impeaches Reich and the rest of the mob, that systematically tries to destroy white America. Just read the posts of “I AM THE MOB” to learn exactly what the intentions of the tribe are: “kill and rape whitey” (via the imported third world proletariat).

Europeans understand the Mob far better than politically naive Americans and Russians, but unfortunately the Mob managed to sick Americans and Russians against Europe in WW2. Meanwhile the Russians are aware (because of the communist disaster). The Americans meanwhile are rapidly wising up as well, thanks to the internet. New chances to finally escape from the grip.

    Reich blames Trump for division.
The real cause for the division was the 1965 immigration act, entirely the work of the Mob and designed to destroy white America:

Reich admits that impeachment is unlikely to succeed because it required 2/3 of the Senate.

Reich fears that Trump could go in the overdrive in a 2nd term.

Large portions of the world population think its ok to kill people that don’t follow your religion.

Large portions believe in genital mutilation.

Large portions believe its ok to kill female babies, slavery, child soldiers, defecate in the streets, giving daughters away to be child brides and many other things, so I’m not really concerned about the outcome of world polling.

If I were a Nigerian, I would be for globalization, and no borders as well. It is those in the global minority (mostly white dominated countries) who should fear mass-colonization. Europeans were not against colonization either when they colonized the lands inhabited by native Americans. Why would Africans or ME people be against colonization, when they are doing the colonizing?

  7. wildbourgman on Sun, 20th Jan 2019 3:03 pm

Good point Laci, also if internal polling and focus group data showed Democrat politicians in the U.S. that illegal aliens coming into America would vote Republican if the ever got citizenship, there would have been a massive wall built 30 years ago.

Everyone wants global cooperation, security and prosperity. That is not equivalent to wanting transnational oligopolies dominating the scene and driving local companies out of business and globally reducing the work force.

Since the late 1980s globalism has meant negative local investment. For example, take the Canadian wire and cable industry. Thanks to free-trade like regulatory slack, the local companies were bought out by transnationals and shut down. That’s right, shut down. The transnationals got rid of local competition. Obviously this cost Canadian jobs.

So, in fact, most people do not support “globalism” in the terms that it is actually being implemented.

  12. makati1 on Sun, 20th Jan 2019 5:46 pm

Well, there are about 7,670,000,000 of us on this rock called Earth. What percentage did they poll? 1% would be over 76 million people. Nope. 1/100% we still need 767,000 people polled. Nope. 10,000 in each “region of the world” equals how many?

So, just how accurate is the claim “Most”? About like saying most people like to watch wrestling on TV. Numbers for the gullible. And some of the above comments are no better.

Did anyone put together the two words that are telling the spin? “Globalism” & “Bu$ine$$”? Nope! No thought there. LOL

The divide is between the mega city states and the rural counties. The socialist FSA programs have served as a magnet for the third world. It has pulled millions into to these city centers. Their outsized populations control the political process in their respective countries. Had it not been for the brilliance of the Electoral College Queen Hillary would be sitting on the throne today. The rest of the world does not have an Electoral College. As a result they live under the dictatorship of the majority.

These city centers are racially and culturally very different than the rural counties. They are socialist in construct and totalitarian by nature. They are all police states. Their minions are paid and their dependent populations are bribed by the exponential growth of debt. They are not sustainable.

The people in the hinterlands understand full well that they are being sucked into the vortex of this on going collapse. They are trying to extract themselves from this process. The prepper moment is part of this. The the incredible accumulation of fire arms and ammunition in America is part of this. It is dangerous for the city states to push their agenda too vigorously out in the hinter lands. At some point they will jump the shark.

The umbilical cord that connects these city states to their just in time supply chains can be severed in a single day by a handful of determined Deplorables. Turn out the lights and these city states will eat themselves in a matter of days.

In the West, Whitey wishes to commit mass suicide.  On C-SPAN2 on January 14, 2019, in a forum titled “Legislative Priorities for the 116th Congress” (https://www.c-span.org/video/?456920-2/legislative-priorities-116th-congress) at segment 32:00, Trump-hating Democrat and former Representative from Virginia (1991-2015) Jim Moran opined that most of the Mueller report had already been slowly and piecemeal revealed:  the “New York Times and Washington Post … [who] have the resources, thanks to Jeff Bezos and Carlos Slim,” have “fleshed out” subtle but constant leaks from the Mueller investigation.  So there will really be no serious surprises in store when the final report appears.  Nevertheless, the Left will treat it as an apocalyptic revelation and use it as fuel to ignite impeachment attempts.

Keep in mind that Slim is a Lebanese-Mexican multibillionaire oligarch, so that a foreigner is interfering in American elections.  The Democrats who — regardless of their history — today hate the White race with smoldering antipathy, are gleeful at such support from a superrich alien who favors the Spic reconquista.  At the end of the day, the Left seeks the end of White civilization and a return to the jungle.  Meanwhile, Whitey himself has acquiesced in his own genosuicide, thanks to the subconscious poison of his Christian fantasies.  Thus will end 4.65 billion years of evolution on this planet

Not the stupid part, that is no act.

Since I AM THE DUMBASS, is in fact, delusional davy, it would be more efficient to just cut out the sock handle and call him by his primary name.

Schizophrenia, tough when actual humans suffer from it, but I think Davyturd here actually enjoys his condition. In little while, ‘davy dumbass’ will ‘wake up’ again, and become the dominant one for while. Till they swap places again, and begin the whole charade anew.

“Note: the growth predicament is hugely misunderstood in this land, because the shale oil “miracle” was such a dazzling stunt. America is now producing above 12 million barrels of oil a day, two million higher than what was thought to be the all-time peak of 10 million a day in 1970. That is extraordinary indeed. We are the world’s leader in oil production now, ahead of Saudi Arabia and the wicked Russian bear. What most Americans don’t know is that this stunning feat was accomplished with hundreds of billions of dollars in borrowed money (debt) that will never be paid back.

The collateral for all that money was the conviction that there was a lot of money to be made in shale oil. But the shale oil industry has had a negative cash flow since it started around 2005. So, we’ve demonstrated that you can produce a lot of something at a big loss for a while, until you can’t. And the moment is approaching when there will be no more loans for the shale oil industry and then, voila, no more shale oil.”

A budding movement is on hand and it has a rising star to push it “AOC”. I see this movement as fake green and delusional as opposed to real green but some of the points are definitely legitimate. I call it fake green but it is still greener than a clogged example of dirty fake green techno-optimism. The sunshine and happiness part of this movement hides the real side of what is ahead and that is decline, pain, and suffering. These kind of movements are typical of the young with their idealism and lack of understanding of systematic realities of economics, social fabric, and scientific laws. They fail to see the real challenge of changing behaviors and the dominance of an existing social narrative of individual freedom and the unhindered pursuit of affluence. They also fail to see they are not a majority. Old people dominate the world and by the time these young people get older and had their ass kicked in life they too will be different and less idealized. Nonetheless, this movement will push a needed agenda of fairness and green policy as opposed to the late stage capitalism and failed corrupted liberal democratic principles of the neocons and neoliberals.

“Principles Of The Sunrise Movement: Antidotes To Neoliberalism”
    https://tinyurl.com/ycfg2cmz

“Klein asserts that the neoliberal agenda is not the only way forward for the US. “A good chunk of Trump’s support could be peeled away if there were a genuine redistributive agenda on the table. An agenda to take on the billionaire class with more than rhetoric, and use the money for a green new deal. Such a plan could create a tidal wave of well-paying unionised jobs, bring badly needed resources and opportunities to communities of colour, and insist that polluters should pay for workers to be retrained and fully included in this future. “It could fashion policies that fight institutionalised racism, economic inequality and climate change at the same time. It could take on bad trade deals and police violence, and honour indigenous people as the original protectors of the land, water and air.” The Sunrise Movement has embraced the idea that those affected by environmental problems must be included in the process of remedying those problems. This group of youth activists are proof that citizens of all walks can engage in activism on behalf of environmental justice. After all, in a democracy, it is the people, not the government, who are ultimately responsible for fair use of the environment.”

MOB, you are living a life based on a near term collapse which turns out is just your excuse to piss away your useless life. You are like the bible thumpers waiting on the rapture but in your case it is the mad max joyride then your planned offing.

The 2009 says that peak oil will happen in 10 years..I showed you that to prove that the IEA has stuck to the same story over the last ten years..And the second article was from 2018.

I don’t decide when the collapse comes..I just do research and examine the evidence..I have collected over 10 science studies to prove it..

Davy, ” real green ” equates to a 7 billion die-off. Nothing less suffices to rescue a workable biosphere. And that will only be realized in millions of years after Gaia is done with her reset. A predicament cannot be rationalized or ameliorated. It must be experienced in all its gore and ruin. Like the polar vortex I’m encased in with its -40° wind chills that drives everyone inside. I am reduced to being a witness and no more because any activity I engage in only adds to the alacrity of the destruction.

Yes, the process will likely be a die down of billions. How fast that happens is the big question and biosphere determinant. A quick or slow die down will likely be very destabilizing for human and planet alike. An optimal reduction would proceed over the next 80 years where the human foot print drops to 1 or 2 billion with a drop that is manageable in regards to degree and duration. This 1-2 depends largely on consumption also. Population drop alone is not the answer. Consumption must also drop readically for a real green footprint to develop. I am very pessimistic a proper population reduction can be managed yet, it is possible once a crisis develops maybe people will seek cooperation and agree to draconian steps at population and consumption reductions.

When I refer to real green I mean with the individuals or small communities. Real green will not operate at a higher level in the current late stage social narrative. Wisdom and consensus is not there for this kind of movement. What we get is things like Trump on one end or the Sunrise Movement on the other. Trump denies science and seeks increased consumption as an indication of wellbeing. The Sunrise people just wants to redistribute wealth and pretend they can do that with a low carbon clean footprint. You know all technical and efficient. These Sunrise people don’t deny the science they are just delusional on the science of the solutions. They are not in agreement on less affluence and less tech. They want more tech and claim they can deliver more affluence with a low carbon world.

No movement that preaches affluence through consumption is a valid real green movement. Only less affluence and more respect for the material combined with rich spirituality suffices. Respect for the material is in regards to living a life in tune with the planetary cycles and the web of life. There are high value materials that can make this type of life real green. The rich spirituality is based upon the same but represents high value behavior reflecting wisdom of the way of the planet. This means behavior that scales to the ecosystem and is respectful to other humans.
