cloggo, I am for PEVs and hybrids but I am also realistic because they have their limits and likely will never be more than a significant segment. They are not a transition paradigm. The above article is probably 11% market share of new vehicles not total vehicle stock. cloggo, will you give me the numbers of electric vehicles on the road in France and the number of ICE. Pretty please with a lebenkucken on top.

Maybe maybe not, this China virus might tank the economy and in that case who knows what will shake out. Reality is being turned on its head. get with it cloggo

“I am for PEVs and hybrids but I am also realistic because they have their limits and likely will never be more than a significant segment. They are not a transition paradigm.”

Just statements without substantiation. You are not “realistic”, just “neutering” anything that is at odds with your global-collapse vision of a planet with 1 billion people left.

Regardless of how desirable a planet with 1 billion would be, it is not going to happen within any scenario you can imagine, not even with Corona.

“Maybe maybe not, this China virus might tank the economy and in that case who knows what will shake out.”

If the virus would cause the global economy to tank (as it probably will), Trump can credibly blame Corona for that. No Maltese poofter can do anything about that.

    The American Dream is Dead.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Dream

The American Dream is a national ethos of the United States, the set of ideals (democracy, rights, liberty, opportunity and equality) in which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success, as well as an upward social mobility for the family and children, achieved through hard work in a society with few barriers. In the definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931, “life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement” regardless of social class or circumstances of birth.

The American Dream is unthinkable without piggy-backing onto the oil-based economy, THE biggest hidden subsidy of American life, apart from the dollar reserve currency after 1945.

Both these subsidies will soon be history and Americans will be forced to reinvent themselves on the rubble of the American Dream.

The only realistic “American Dream” left in 2020 is saving your sorry white ass.

Fortunately Americans have their older European Brothers standing by to give our serial blunderers [*] a helping hand.

    – believing in exceptionalism
    – believing in American Life as non-negotiable
    – believing in “diversity is our strength”
    – believing in “jews are noble people and philanthropists”
    – believing in America is something better than Europe
    – believing in “the End of History”
    – denying the reality of ZOG-Israel Lobby

    The list goes on.

    Nobody claimed anything different.

But 11% new cars e-vehicle, means an 11% e-vehicle fleet in 10 years time, all thing equal.

Expect the real e-vehicle fleet to be much bigger than 11% in 10 years time.

cloggie looks like your Airbus got dirty just like VW? LOL

Airbus reports billions in losses after corruption fines

Airbus has reported its first loss in ten years after paying fines over corruption allegations. The company’s entire management has stepped down over the charges. European aircraft manufacturer Airbus on Thursday reported billions in losses for 2019 after being hit with heavy fines related to corruption and bribery allegations. The Toulouse-based manufacturer reported a net loss of €1.36 billion ($1.49 billion) for the 2019 fiscal year. Airbus had reported net profits of €3 billion in 2018. It is the aerospace and defense giant’s first net loss since 2009.

    https://cleantechnica.com/2020/02/15/11-electric-vehicle-share-in-france/

Abe merely copy & pasted the headline as provided by Cleantechnica, as you can verify with your mouse (the thing in your right-hand). A child will understand that share refers to new vehicles.

  18. JuanP on Sat, 15th Feb 2020 10:02 am

Abe implied it from a very short and not well referenced link. At least it wasn’t the typical naked link like his puppet master cloggie does

“Abe implied it from a very short and not well referenced link.”

There is no such thing as a “not well referenced link”

You either have links or you have dead links, pointing to nothing.

    This link…

    …clickerdeclickerdeclick…opens an article with title:

“11% Electric Vehicle Share In France!”

This could indeed mean share of the entire French car fleet.

But it could also mean share of newly admissioned cars.

If you read a little into the article, you will verify that the author refers to the latter option.

Ah no, juanPee, I am not a lefty. You are projecting, Freak. One needs only to follow your supremist muzzie jerk puke and see how mindless and stupid you are. You admit to being a freak. We have years of you bragging about being a freak like this classic one: BTW this was before you made ID theft routine:

“JuanP on Mon, 23rd May 2016 8:53 am
I was just telling my wife yesterday that I would very willingly give my arms, legs, tongue, eyes, ears, nuts, and dick to experience life like normal people do for just one hour to know what it feels like. I have been a seriously depressed realist since I have a memory. My first memory of my life is of leaning against a tree alone in my kindergarten’s playground looking at all the other kids playing, thinking how stupid their behavior was, and wondering why I wasn’t like them. I basically don’t interact with normal people anymore. They have nothing to offer me and I don’t want to give them anything.”
