“Manhattan Project” Level Proposed for Alternative Energy

A new bill has been introduced into the House (this is partisan, D-lead), called the “Progress Act”, that seeks to establish a Manhattan Project level of research and implementation into developing alternative fuels and methods to address the looming transporation crisis. The sponsors say we just can’t wait, it needs to be done now before the sources we do have become so dear that switching to alternatives becomes even more costly.
