Let me start by saying that I know nothing (I swear thats my catchphrase) about how websites are run.

But I was thinking what would happen to this website in the event of an economic collapse.

Who do admin pay "rent" to to keep this site going?

If a collapse happened would these servers go bust or would prices skyrocket. Maybe there would be no-one to get advertising revenue from.

I have this vision of waking up one morning to discuss the latest news of the dollar collapse on this forum only to find that it doesn't exist anymore.

The site's almost paying for itself, and even when it isn't, don't worry, we're not going anywhere.
