That wasn't difficult to figure out. But I hear there will be a heavy Antifa presence in DC on July 4th. I'm sure you can hook up with them and burn a flag if that is your pleasure.

But I digress. How is that stock market crash going for you Ghung? Still buying gold or shorting the market?

Utter nonsense, best ignored.

As for Antifa, I, for one, served our country to help preserve their rights, indeed, their duty, to protest those things they deem are detrimental to this country. I don't have to agree with them. It's their country as much as it is mine or yours.

Some of you are simply awful at sharing much beyond your anger and ignorance; same as those you accuse of being angry and ignorant.

S&P 500 Annual Total Return: -4.38% for 2018

It's July of 2019. What's next, complain about returns in 2008, or 1929?

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/sp-50 ... 2019-07-03
The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.67% rose 179.32 points, or 0.7%, at 26,966, it’s first record close since Oct. 3, while the S&P 500 index SPX, +0.77% set its third-straight record close, rising 22.81 points, or 0.8% to 2,995.82. The Nasdaq Composite index COMP, +0.75% ended the day at an all-time high of 8,170.23, adding 61.14 points , or 0.8%.
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.

And here is even MORE terrible economic news.. U.S. trade deficit rises to $55.5 billion in May from $51.2 billion. As I have been explaining for YEARS.. debts and deficits will continue to explode higher...

"Auto sales down 7.2% in June as downward trend continues
The dip in June marked the 16th consecutive month of sales declines when compared with the previous year."

Nothing says "Strong Economy" like 16 consecutive months of falling car sales.

The topic is stock market crash. Have any news on the new market highs, seeing as how the market isn't crashing?

10% of people own 85% of the market. So it’s irrelevant to most people. My wife is a 1%er, so she’s happy.

Sounds like you shouldn't invest in those $20T of sovereign bonds then!

As epic as the peak oil collapse of Thanksgiving 2005? Or more like the revised peak oils of 2006, 2008 or 2015? Or maybe those epic collapses are why you are pimping something else now? Hoping to distract from the last epic collapses that you bought into perhaps?

2019

Nationalism. Tanks rolling through the capitol. Concentration camps at the border. Trade war. Intelligence coup. Antifa violence.

Things are still good. The stock market is at an all time high!

The American Heritage Dictionary defines the term concentration camp as: "A camp where persons are confined, usually without hearings and typically under harsh conditions, often as a result of their membership in a group which the government has identified as dangerous or undesirable.

Seems to fit the bill, Coggoid. Maybe you would prefer "internment camp"? Strange you think its a laughing matter, but not unexpected.

So I see that with erratic US payrolls up strongly for June, it's crickets from Armageddon.

Because if all you can do is spam the board with negative talking points from doomer sites, you'd never mention a positive point. And of course, strong payrolls, as reflected in the markets, aren't good for his claims of negative interest rates, hyperinflation, precious metals through the roof, etc.

Only the empty predictions of "epic" collapse, etc.

But hey, with a long term track record of predicting quite a bit of doom that never occurs, why not? For me, it's the things like calling every normal dip "collapse" that drives the nail in the coffin, re any credibility for him. Reeks of far too much desperation.

Let's consider how long the sellers of gold have been constantly predicting hyperinflation. Same as it ever was.
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.

June saw a surge in full-time jobs, as total US employment hit a record high of 157 million workers, however virtually all of this increase was due to workers being forced to get a second (or third) job, double counting those who can no longer make ends meet on one job alone.

So...when the stats say that there are a record in WORKERS, you claim that they used the wrong word, and should have said there is a record 157 million JOBS?

I'll share a well kept secret. The aggregate-hours worked index for all of Q2 slowed to a mere 0.6% SAAR from 1.8% in Q1. This is the weakest quarter since...Q4 of 2009!

We keep seeing 2008 and 2009 mentioned a lot. Gee, I wonder why?
