Heat Waves 2025

Heat Waves 2025

Europe on alert as first major heatwave of 2025 pushes temperatures to 42C -guardian
Authorities across Europe are on alert as the first heatwave of the summer pushes temperatures up to 42C (107.6F), as the fastest-warming continent continues to suffer the effects of the climate emergency. Spain’s state meteorological office, Aemet, issued a special heat warning on Friday, saying temperatures could reach 42C in some southern areas of the country over the coming days.

I have heard in the radio, Swedish authorities have issued a travel warning for travelling to Spain. Electric cars were invented too slow. We'll get cooked.

What, humans are something special compared to the millions of other species done in as geologic time works it wonders on our world?

That damn Azolla fern cast the planet into climate coldness and helped create the horribly cold world we live in today! Humans are just rectifying the situation. We should be PROUD! DOWN WITH HUMANS! BRING BACK THE AZOLLA!!

Floods sweep away Nepal-China bridge
Weather forecasting experts said the flood might have been the result of an overflowing glacial lake in Tibet since there had been no heavy rainfall in the immediate catchment area of the river in the preceding 24 hours. At least 18 people are missing in Nepal while China's official Xinhua news agency said 11 people were unaccounted for on the Chinese side of the mountainous border region.

Ice and snow melting in the heatwave perhaps.

And back in June 2023 was this.

Landmark report on impacts of disappearing snow and ice in the Hindu Kush Himalaya
Most accurate assessment of changes to the Asia high mountain cryosphere to date warns of grave consequences for human life and nature.

Peer-reviewed study from leading mountain institute finds that Hindu Kush Himalayan glaciers disappeared 65% faster in 2011–2020 compared with the previous decade. Report warns policymakers need to prepare for the cascading impacts of climate change in the critical mountain biome, which will affect a quarter of the world’s population.

I'd say the flood in the story above confirms the science

Bit by bit.
We're 17 years past the peak now and the 3rd World is going hungry and dark. We'll be next, we're well on the way in fact.

I'd say only a moron that doesn't know what science is would pretend a story would confirm it one way or another. Of course a parrot would do as well.
