Dolan - Great details...much thanks. Other then some jobs would the locals (including folks without turbines on their property) see any meaningful financial benefit? That's a big factor with shale development in PA: since the state doesn't collect $1 in production taxes the landowners not getting royalty checks have all the negatives and none of the pluses. But in the end NIMBY is alive everywhere. But for some unexplainable reason not so much in Texas. Surprising given our self-proclaimed strong sense of individualism. Perhaps we've been doing it so long we just accept our roll as an energy provider for others. Even for those damn Yankees. LOL.
BTW as I type I'm watching a travel show about Dingle region. Gotta make it over there one day...my kin migrated over here in the early 1900's. Yes I'm an Irish throwback from the "nint" ward in New Orleans. LOL. Would like to cruise over to Blaskit Island for some odd reason.
