Dr Michael Shaver, Chancellor's Fellow in the School of Chemistry at Edinburgh University, presents "The Intertwined World of 'Peak' Oil, Renewables and Sustainability". Shaver is a Canadian who occasionally does stand-up comedy, making for an entertaining lecture.
This is the first in Edinburgh University's "Our Changing World" public lecture series, which examines the global challenges facing society, and the role of academia in meeting these challenges.
The lecture was on 24 September 2013 at the University of Edinburgh's Appleton Tower.
