Now the Prime Minister of Australia is in a twitter war with Greta. Greta tweeted that perhaps Australia should be more concerned about climate change, since they are in a fire catastrophe caused by multi-year drought and successive heat waves.

The Australian PM would have none of it, and told Greta to he wasn't there to "impress people overseas."

Well...the Australian PM is getting his wish. He isn't impressing anybody by vacationing in Hawaii while his country burns up, and then denying that climate change might have something to do with the longer and hotter and more intense fire seasons they are experiencing in Australia.

How is it possible that Australia is suffering worse and worse fire seasons as the climate warms, and yet their PM won't acknowledge the climate is warming? Its utterly bizarre---the Australian PM isn't impressing anybody.

Cheers!

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” Upton Sinclair

Morrison knows where the money comes from, and he's not going to say anything that jeopardises his paychecks for coal to China.

Even if his country burns up, he will turn a blind eye to the causes.

It took filibustering in the 30's until dust blew into the halls of congress before they did anything about the dust bowl.

It would be nice if something similar could happen in Australia.

Alas, it's a world wide problem, and we don't seem to be able to come together for a solution.

World political leaders and corporate billionaires are getting ready to fly into DAVOS Switzerland in their private jets for their annual get-together and Greta is denouncing them as climate criminals and demanding they change their evil ways and act like world leaders and do something about climate change.

Good to see Greta is still speaking truth to power.

Cheers!

Greta has almost fallen out of the news cycle, but here comes Davos. It might get her back on the news again. We'll see...

How did it happen; a bunch of people with destruction in mind, and a book of matches. Over 200 people arrested for arson. This is psychosis, not climate.
