There's nothing any one individual can do to change their personal impact on climate change even remotely having the tiniest effect. That always has and always will be the problem. The only meaning impact would come about from a vast number of the group that is primarily responsible for the direct production of GHG: the individual fossil fuel consumers.

And so far the is zero indication of that happening.

I did move this year. From a 1350 SQ FT two story detached house, to a 900 SQ FT townhouse. Gave huge amounts of old stuff that I wasn't using anymore to charity in the process of downsizing. The Townhouse is smaller, and as such cheaper to heat, ect.

Many people are being forced by economic necessity to downsize.
