Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has stopped parading around in blackface long enough to promise that Canada will be carbon neutral by 2050 if he is re-elected PM

Why did Trudeau wait until he was outed as someone who likes to wear blackface before making this announcement? And how credible is it, coming from someone who lied repeatedly about his own personal behavior?

Later in life, I was the Director of Operations, at Wallace Air Station, San Fernando LaUnion, during the NPA conflict.
