Sorry Sub, I don't know how to fix that on this end, hopefully Admin will check it out and fix if we can

Doesn't your browser have an option to not automatically go into Spending Spree mode?

When I click on the link for the thread my Safari closes and the app purchase page on my IPad opens itself. I tried it twice and was able to exit the app purchase which is password protected without actually buying anything. Don't know if that info helps?

Is it when you land on a specific page of the thread? If so, which one?

Ebola Pandemic Part 5 page 19. When I click on it my browser opens,

https://admin.appnext.com/ClickUrlm.htm ... NH0MI6DA46

And switches to the app purchase function on my iPad

I"m not sure if this is the cause, but there's a google ad thing at the bottom.

<div id="footer">
<center>
<script type="text/javascript">
google_ad_client = "pub-2086302064406381";
google_ad_slot = "3959606543";
google_ad_width = 728;
google_ad_height = 90;
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script>
</center>
</div>

There may be others too. I use ad-blockers to avoid such things (and they're also a vector for malware). But it's odd if it's only happening on this one page.

I think everyone sees different ads. I often get ads for products I have recently shopped on the web.

I have not had the redirect thing, but I've noticed that with some webpages (including on PO) my CPU and memory usage are maxed out (and my computer slows to a crawl). When I close the pages, usage drops to normal. I guess it is an ad, but I can't tell which ad on the page is doing it.

Twice when I clicked on "Forum Posts Member New" I got redirected to some healt magazine or something. It is definitely something buggy going on with PO now. Something must have been slipped in.

edit: Here is the exact page I got redirected to when I hit the aforementioned button:

Hi SteinarN,
I have exactely the same on my phpBB forum...
either it is a code injection in the forum, or a google ads that is buggy (or not) and that redirects to http://celebritera.com/fd

I am still looking on the origin of the problem that started yesterday.
Regards !

I'm using Disconnect and AdBlock Edge and don't have a problem. I would have thought a Cross-Site Scripting code injection would affect everyone, so I'm guessing it's a google ad. It wouldn't be the first time.
