After a few days when I want to read a news article again, it is not there any more. Is there an archive?
Thanks NWFM

You can do a google search like this to exclude forums:
- Code: Select all
site:peakoil.com -site:peakoil.com/forums frack

Thanks, that helps a bit if I have a particular search terms. I was hoping there was some sort of directory of all past news articles.
The articles themselves are still there, only if you don`t know the URL you can access them.
Example: I used the wayback machine and found this article from 2010:
http://peakoil.com/business/peak-oil-ex ... -downturn/

You just have to make the right kind of error to get that error message page. I don't know how to get there otherwise.
Each of those links points to a series of pages with 10 article abstracts per page. These are very slow to search through, even with PO's lightning fast server.
A single page listing just the titles for each month would be nice.

Our intrepid news editors have been posting a lot of articles lately, but if you don't check in at least daily they will have scrolled off the main page and it is a pain to find what you have missed using the links at the bottom or the "Select Category" dropdown (Which takes you to the same pages as the links).
This is a major waste of volunteer effort. Most news sites make it easy for readers to access items from at least the last few days.
