I tried to import and image for a post using the IMG tab. It requested a URL for source of image. I entered the URL but only saw the Url on the post preview. How does go about putting a picture in a post? Can you do it from picture in the hard drive?

I suspect that you'll need a hosting server, and will then need to write the HTML code to display the image.

So, only in the special case where your machine is configured (and connected) as a web server would it be possible to display the picture from the hard drive.

That being said, your ISP probably provides free web server space. The bad news, of course, is that this provides an indication of who you are...

You can go to a site like imageshack.us and follow directions. You can load a pix from your computer onto their site and then it allows you to post that image to forums, etc.
