I can't see it... Can you?

When I upload it, it says "updated profile" and the image is within the 95x95 pixel limit. Help?

A number of avatars look like a white-box with a red-cross in them. I'm using Internet Explorer 6.

However I can see alot of them, including a number of animated ones.

Try using a GIF or JPEG as they are "portable" formats rather than using windows specific DIB,WMF or BMP.

I'm guessing that the module that translates the upload is not functioning properly. In LOTR's case, it even deleted the archive file he started with so that it's gone also.

I made you Glyphosate temporarily. Don't know why I have that molecule in the stacks, but there it is.

I've got the same problem. Have tried repeatedly to upload an GIF image, within the parameters. No luck. Gave up trying. Just tried again. Suggestions?

I clicked "refresh" on this page a few times. Sometimes I see both rkerver's and lotrfan's atavars, sometimes neither, sometimes only one of them.

Mine seems to work every time. I have it on my website, not uploaded to peakoil.

(EDIT) The intermittent behavior could be a symptom of too much traffic on the server. It's probably programmed to ignore new requests if there are too many queued up.

Try the "Link to off-site Avatar:" option and put the atavar file on your website. If you don't have a website get somene else to "host" your atavar:
