General error on author page

When I go to author-coyote.html to check my posted messages, I get this error message:

General Error

Could not delete old search id sessions

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1153 Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet'

DELETE FROM nuke_bbsearch_results WHERE session_id NOT IN

... followed by a boatload of code, then at the bottom:

Line : 658
File : /home/httpd/vhosts/peakoil.com/httpdocs/modules/Forums/search.php

This page is how I navigate to threads in which I've been participating. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

It does the same if you try the "Last 24 hours" link

I'm also getting it on "Since Last Visit".

It's now happening again on the 24 hrs page, albeit with only a small amount of code.

Is anyone else getting it ?

Is this a traffic-load problem ?
