There have been several flight tests from various airlines that have used Jatropha oil and the results have been better than expected according to the reports from Boeing, Air New Zealand, UOP and Rolls Royce. It probably won't be used for another 5-7 years as the learning curve and research is still in progress. The amount of Jatropha grown is not enough to fill demand once bio fuels become more standard rather than an alternative. Does anyone have any new info or comments?
