Apparently in past administrations someone in the White House...usually the White House lawyer....would've told Biden that having his son work for Burisma was a conflict of interest since Biden was overseeing US policy in Ukraine.

But since Obama was the chosen one, the MSM wouldn't report on anything negative like Biden's conflict of interest and Biden and the rest of the BO people probably just figured they could get away with it, just like they got away with running guns to Mexican drug cartels and sending the US military to fight in wars in Libya and Syria and doing nothing while our ambassador was besieged and killed in Benghazi and other crazy, criminal stuff.

Cheers!

Billionaire Bloomberg opens at 6% in the D primary poll

bloomberg-at-6%-in-new-poll

Who says Ds don't like Billionaires?

I heard an extended interview with Bloomberg on PBS on sunday. I must say the man is smart but an idiot at the same time. For instance, the interviewer was incredulous as Bloomberg-the-idiot repeatedly claimed that the leader of China is not a dictator!!!!!

Bloomberg-the-idiot also claimed China was doing lots to reduce their CO2 emissions because they were moving all their coal-fired power plants away from Beijing and out in the country. Apparently Bloomberg-the-idiot doesn't understand that the amount of CO2 emitted by a coal-fired power plant into the atmosphere doesn't change just because you move it farther away from Beijing.

Image
Bloomberg's solution to climate change? Move the coal-fired power plants farther from the cities. And 6% of Ds support him for president!!!

Cheers!

Joe Biden begins his No Malarkey bus tour. I hate to inform Joe of this but it's 2019 not 1919. Millenials are mocking him as completely out of touch.

Millenials are actually still a small part of the voter base, they are just so vocal about their feelings they sound like a significant population.

As for Bloomberg, outside of the state of New York I just don't see him as appealing to the D base voter population. For one thing he is a Billionaire which puts a dent in his bonnefides. For another thing he is the worst sort of busy body that annoys mature adults with things like his tax on sweetened beverages.

I agree with you about his annoying mature adults but we are talking about the majority of the Democrat party so he might well win the nomination. I think it would be a close race between Trump and Bloomberg with the advantage Bloomberg.

I think the situation as it stands points to how dysfunctional the current selection process has become.

I Would like to see a 2024 election, (after Trump wins), between Andrew Yang (D), and Candice Owens (R). :-D

For me, it would feel like a win regardless of who won.

Racist Ds trip over their own racist tropes

bloomberg-echoes-biden-harry-reid-no-negro-dialect-gaffe-tone-deaf-racist-comments-about-cory-booker

Corey Booker just played the race card on Michael Bloomberg who made the mistake of saying Corey Booker is "well spoken". That doesn't sound so bad, but it brought back memories of Biden's racist statements about Obama, i.e. that Obama was OK because he was "clean" and Harry Reid's racist statement that Obama was OK because he didn't have any trace of a "negro dialect."

Booker's larger point is that the Ds have rigged the election rules to exclude people of color. As it stands there will be no people of color in the next D debate. This seems bizarre, given that the first actual voting is still months away.

Shouldn't the Ds be setting up their rules to mandate INCLUDING blacks and hispanics and asians and polynesians instead of EXCLUDING THEM? Its like the Ds are trying to pre-select who the nominee will be instead of letting the voters decide. Just like they did in 2016 when they screwed Bernie and tilted toward Hillary. Now the racist Ds are screwing over Corey Booker and the other Ds of color.

IMHO the Ds should reset their rules so they don't exclude all the Ds of color. Let Corey Booker and Andrew Yang and Tulsi gabbard and even that little weasel Castro back into the debates. Especially Tulsi.........Tulsi has arguably won the last two debates and actually has hit the polling benchmark set by the DNC, and the DNC is excluding her anyway. Excluding her is racist and sexist and unfair to the extreme......

Its disgraceful that the DNC is excluding Tulsi Gabbard from the debates just because she is person of color.

You got me there, Careinke.

I posted this one in the wrong thread --- my apologies.

On the positive side, there aren't very many interesting pictures in this thread, and I have presented you with a pic of Tulsi Gabbard looking great in her uniform.

Enjoy!

There is a report out today documenting how unwinnable the Afghanistan war has been and how officials have misled the public about it. Memories of the pentagon papers spring up. Perhaps people will see that Tulsi has a much better position on this then the media has given her credit for.

The paper said the interviews "bring into sharp relief the core failings of the war that persist to this day" as "U.S. officials acknowledged that their warfighting strategies were fatally flawed and that Washington wasted enormous sums of money trying to remake Afghanistan into a modern nation."

ORIGIONAL article is from Washington Post and behind a paywall.

Sounds a lot like Vietnam. Also is not a partisan issue, both parties supported this fiasco.

CNN and the whole US D. Party "left" are freaking nutjobs. No amount of failed attempts to prove that Trump is some wrong-doer stops these clowns from believing all the sh*t being lobbed at Trump. That he is racist, that he is on the payroll of Putin. As for Trump supporters being illiterate, go an get f*cked you liberal arts degree retards.

The elite on the coasts continue to push the narrative that anyone not them is a inbred Klan member. Ask Hillary how that whole deplorable comment worked out for her.

Democrats can't even fix a state caucus without getting caught. LOL. Iowa caucus results still not in. Even CNN and MSNBC are ridiculing the Democrat Party. Yes, it's that bad.

As Chris Matthews said " This party couldn't organize a three car funeral"

We should definitely have these people run health care for the country.

 Well if the results don't show Biden the establishment's candidate winning then of course there are "irregularities" and they must be suppressed.

There is social warfare going on between Bernie Bros and Biden supporters on the left wing web sites. Like Democratic Underground and HuffPro.

Meanwhile Trump has helped out with this tweet.

The Democrat Caucus is an unmitigated disaster. Nothing works, just like they ran the Country. Remember the 5 Billion Dollar Obamacare Website, that should have cost 2% of that. The only person that can claim a very big victory in Iowa last night is “Trump”.

One network showed an internal campaign tabulation (so not official or complete) that showed Bernie as first with Mayor Pete a close second, Warren trailing and Biden way behind with less then half the delegates Bernie will get. If that holds true we will probably be done with both Biden and Warren right after New Hampshire next week.
The markets getting wind of this are soaring upward today as Bernie win does look very good for Trump's reelection chances.
I don't know why the Dems are so afraid of Bernie. It is not as if he could get any of his real radical proposals through, any possible congress, looking anything like they start out. If you think they are a do nothing, deadlocked, Congress now, just watch them with a Socialist in the White house.

Only 50% of the people like the Democrats :-)

Maybe Trump could ask the Russians to find those missing votes in Iowa. :)
