.
For the last couple of months Australia largest internet provider has been afflicted by severe outages
it is in fact increasing in severity , the last two weeks have been a painful joke for its customers
Telstra customer support has a standing policy ..." how , so sad ! "
no public apologies or information about the causes ,
their only communication was two weeks ago , the fault in the system was blamed on a technician doing network repair who plugged back the wrong master server ?!?!?!

If that's the information age , it sucks !

I'm pretty confident in my theory that Telstra, A/ skimped on 3 years of copper maintenance in expectation of NBN fibre rollout, B continued to skimp since the pull back under Abbot & Turnbull, to B/ continue to exert pressure on the incumbent to revert to full fibre to premises rollout.
