So...

Make with the suggestions...
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Huh? Maybe cuz it's Friday, but I'm not sure what you mean...Our sig lines?
I want to put out the fires of Hell, and burn down the rewards of Paradise. They block the way to God. I do not want to worship from fear of punishment or for the promise of reward, but simply for the love of God. - Rabia

The GregEllis quote is good, although its basically saying he is a Post Carbon reject. Reminds me of that scene in Stripes when Murray talks about being American because 'we were kicked out of every decent country in the world'.

But, are you asking how the quote should be chosen, if there should be one, how often should it change etc ?

It's good, I like how you click on the name and it takes you to the thread where it was said. Can you track how many clicks a quote gets ? Then we can see what piques peoples interest. How to pick the quote I don't know. Is there a way to do it automatically ?

I like these ones
"When you see a situation that you cannot understand, look for the financial interest." -- author unknown
"If you can get them to ask the wrong questions, then the answers don't matter."
Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the president.~Theodore Roosevelt
Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe.-H.G. Wells

but I can't vouch for their authenticity...quotes of forums tend to be altered and edited slightly as they move around the net.

Thanks... :)

Include a link with quotes, so I can link the thread in the members quotes block...

LOL, my pleasure, you summed it up.

No matter how good we get at ethanol production it still amounts to food for fuel.
