Clear your cookies or you might get an error saying that post submission is invalid.

Thanks Cog, I'll sticky this for a while...

Whenever I try to view new posts, I get this message:
"The board requires you to be registered and logged in to view new posts since your last visit."

Can you remove this requirement? I don't want to login just to view new posts. Even now that I am logged in I still don't see anything on this page. All I get is:
"No suitable matches were found."

BTW, if you are still getting the error that the post submission is invalid even after clearing cookies, be sure to also clear your site preferences and then try again. This got rid of the error for me.
The oil barrel is half-full.

Yup, had to clear out my 'cookies' before I could post.
Thanks for the hint.

A couple of things:

"Active Discussions" doesn't return recent posts any longer, not sure what it does

Also, clicking on a members' handle goes to a dead end instead of the page where "search all posts" and other stuff is located

What happens when I click the red button that says "Erase Database"?

so far so good!
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

sorry for the "drethettelina" mega posts that flooded the forum during the upgrades. I finally managed to get a muzzle on it just now.

I used the solution once and it worked. Today, however, I encountered the same problem that renders all of my attempted posts invalid. I used the solution again, obviously. Am I going to have to do backflips every time I want to post here? I've noticed very low posting volume. Maybe this is happening elsewhere too?

My bet is a lot of people won't clear their cookies or do whatever is needed.

Therefore they are just dumping the site.

I can post, obviously, but I can 'view your posts' and I notice some threads are gone.

Kinda discouraging. I hope the mods can figure this out in time to keep the site alive.

Same for me here, the option of Firefox to clean cookies is not working, i have to search for them manually everytime before i log in. CClean doesn´t delete them all either. is not very friendly really :|

test again

Didn't happen a third time. Also, I just updated Firefox to the new 7.0. That might have helped.
