I can't really remember; I do remeber that some regulars weren't too happy about my posting rate. I think I challenged them to show me an inane, or meaningless waste of space type poste I had made; they shut up. (Truth is we all make mistakes; I read here for over a year before I posted a word).
It's practice for me in a subject I enjoy, in a forum I find to be really interesting. Plus I need an online job so I don't have to go back to Australia anymore.
I'm already sure P.O.com hasn't anyone with a fraction of my awareness of Australia. Maybe the admin can fast track my application in appreciation of my efforts? Or maybe 8 months is just not long enough? :-D

(Admin, if there is any such thing as an application form?)

So you angling for moderator or regional admin?

Am I being required to paddle my own canoe?
I am quite capable of either or both.
I have banged heads with most of the board and mods; I respect them and I feel they respect me.
They know more about my capability than I am prepared to divulge.

Would be great if you could contribute more Australian coverage.
Peak Oil and related issues are supposed to be global issues vs American-centric.

And, congrats on the bump up :)

There are a few Aussies here and Kiwi's of course. I think I'm the only one from the northern tropical part and the only one who has lived in every Australian State and driven all over the continent for years and years.
I'm also the only one who works with and lives with Aboriginal people.

Unfortunately the jobs here are not paid so I will have to keep working for a living; I do what I do here because I enjoy the discussion. 8)

Do you actually read anything before you post?
I work my backside off in Australia for 2 to 3 months at a time then spend a month to 6 weeks at home in the Philippines. I don't 'need' a job. Where I work in Australia we have 3% unemployment; I specialize in working with Aboriginals, a rare ability; this makes me extremely employable.
Besides I don't work for a..holes; thanks anyway :P

At first he was light and sweet, no doubt about it, and then as he became
acclimated, he was crude to a certain acceptable degree. Sure he made
light, sweet, and crude in only 8 months, but you have to understand that
the man has been accumulating the underlying skills to pull this amazing
feat off for decades!

(tic)

P.S. I am not an aboriginal but I am very unoriginal, do you think SeaGypsy
would work with me? I also feel rather strongly that I am not among the
designated demographic the he defined as being unable to team with.
