Environment comes and goes in Active Discussions, sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't. No idea why.

Well now it's showing up in "View your posts" but NOT active discussions.

Whats the difference between New Posts and Active Discussions?

Just use "new posts" instead.

Interestingly I can no longer see the "Runaway Global Warming" thread.

Cid sent me a link at another site, and I can click through that link to the thread.

But once I go out and come back in the thread is gone from both "Active Discussions" and from "View Your Posts."

Agitating.

Any word on this? Can we have someone look into it and get the Environment forum added to Active Discussions?

This must be new as I've seen the active threads in Environment in "Active Discussion" fairly recently. Active Discussions is pretty much the only thing I ever click on, rarely look at specific forums except Planning.

Why the change? Hopefully it's just a code error. I'd rather have Environment listed than Open.

Apparently, it now shows only newly open threads, rather than the latest posts in the existing threads as it used to be.

Is Active Discussions confined to only certain forums? I just noticed that none of the threads from the Environment forum are showing up in the Active Discussions list of threads. I thought Active Discussions covered all forums. I wonder how many threads I have missed out on since the forum upgrade because of this issue.
