What are the points you accumulate?
"Points you have by participating on the site's content: 3866
You are not subscriber of Peak Oil News and Message Boards."

What does that mean exactly? I absolutly have no clue.

For every post you make, news, download, or link you submit, peakoil.com members earn points. You can also earn points by voting in certain polls, etc.

Member can also be granted "subscriber" status. Certain articles and sections of the website can be subscriber-only.

We're not using either of these features.

Site Content points

Unread postby TireFire » Wed 11 Mar 2009, 14:36:22

What is all this about?

If I get enough points, will I win a toaster?

Seems the more we post, the more we gain points (or if we submit articles and stuff).

How does all this work? :?:

Just keep posting it pays off.

I've cashed my points in for a rain barrel, 20lbs of rice and a Glock 19. Now I'm trying to get either the 1 oz gold coin or the trip to Cabo San Lucas? Tough decision.
But how the world turns. One day, cock of the walk. Next, a feather duster.

Points?
You get points?
I don't get points. I want points too.
I only got those stinking stars... and a fission tag. At least that makes me superior to you lousy tar sands and light sweet crudes Right? [smilie=XXjester.gif]

I think "points" is exactly the same as the total number of posts and can be traded for... nothing.

8) As far as I can tell the points stopped accumulating during the last site revamp. You will never get any more and you will never be able to trade them for Krugerrands or cruise miles. Now I will never get to take that cruise to Bora Bora.
