I think it's a great thing!

Can you turn that on for the "peak wiki" login? I edit spam out of there
all the time... :P

My computer keeps me permanently logged into peak oil even if I log off my computer. If you could do that then you might not have to type the security code everytime.

I put a notice up on the main page (news) about how I got logged in. If you did not have to go through the lost password process, let us know.

If you created a new account to get logged in, you can go back to your original profile by using the lost password process from the link on the login page.

thanks,

mark

Still cannot log in even using the lost password process.

Did you type the security code in as well? Once you receive the temp password, you enter it and can change it back to your original one in your profile.

It took me 2 tries--the first new password didn't show up, so I re-did it, then the first one showed up later.

well, I think people that don't log out should be experiencing the same problem, but I understand you didn't?

Do I have new passwords or what?

I "reset" my old account several times and wondered what was
happening. Then I noticed I didn't have an email address listed
in my profile. Where are you sending the new passwords????

Old user name "aahala, which I (guess) I want to keep.

Perhaps aahala2 is the new improved me.

I never noticed anything, and I'm still here! :-D I never actually set my password, I just remembered the autogenerated one from signing up. Co-incidence?

Yeah, I've gone through the process several times, sure to type in the confirmation code and the security code correctly - but still no luck. I don't really care though. I'll just keep "Rune" as my new username.

I don't know, you should have provided an emailadress when you first became a member, but maybe you changed it afterwards?

I just noticed in my earlier post I was able to skip forward about 15 hours!

Before resettting my old account and then getting a new one,
I thought it was Tuesday morning.

After I closed my browser I needed to log back in. Needless to say it didn't work anymore. New password procedure worked fine though.
